I have to be in a very specific mood to wear a crop top, but this Adidas tee was so good with these trousers that I couldn’t help but go for it. Every other top I tried on today left me feeling a bit average, but the Adidas tee DID SOMETHING. A sporty tee with traditional cut trousers? The look’s got FRICTION.
Since this outfit is doing a lot (pattern! color! proportion!), I kept my hair and makeup simple and pared back. Something about the minimal makeup and undone hair gives everything a chilled out vibe.
On a particularly frustrated whim a while back, I cut this tee to crop it more and accidentally made it too short. It’s not the worst mistake. In fact sometimes, like today, it works out quite well. But just know that if you get this tee for yourself, it won’t be as cropped as mine.
Also, yes — it’s another Baggu bag! I love my lime green Baggu Cloud Tote so much, but after using it for a while I realized it was just a little too big to be my work bag. My laptop was swimming in it. So now I use the Cloud Tote as my pool bag (it’s perfecto!) and I use the Nylon Shoulder Bag for work. My laptop fits perfectly and it’s a manageable size for shlepping back and forth to the coffee shop.
